Here’s a set from “Rides of Rhyolite, NV”—a day trip north of Las Vegas into a ghost town shaped by time and neglect. There isn’t much left, which makes what is left feel even more meaningful. These scenes have been photographed countless times, so why keep making the same pictures? Maybe our images, like these rusted vehicles, are just trying to matter for a moment before time moves on. They served their purpose, carried stories, and brought joy while the ride lasted. Maybe that’s enough.
